This oil on hardwood piece is an exploration of expression through costume. The image is cropped to just the torso, only depicting the chest, leather harness and hands pulling the leather apart as if to expose his heart through the leather. I used a simple temperature shift to create this effect and it came through in a powerful way for me. Careful consideration for edge, temperature and texture.
