This 8×10 oil on canvas panel is inspired by modern and more accurate depictions of Jesus considering the time and place of his birth. I melded this concept with traditional European techniques to produce a beautiful rendering. Though the painting is not of Jesus per say, the comparison is understood and welcomed by the artist.
